Creator Product OS | Notion Inventory System for Digital Product Creators

You've got products scattered across platforms, files in three different folders, and no clear picture of what's current, what's outdated, or what's broken. Creator Product OS puts your entire catalog, every file, every listing, and every version update in one connected workspace.

What Is Creator Product OS?

Creator Product OS is a Notion product catalog template for creators who sell digital products and need one workspace to manage their entire inventory — products, files, platform listings, bundles, version history, and support issues. It replaces the mental model of "I think that file is somewhere in Google Drive" with a connected system where every asset, listing, and update ties back to a specific product record.

The template includes six modules built around a central Products database. Product Files & Assets tracks every file, link, mockup, and deliverable connected to a product. Listings & Platforms tracks where each product is sold and the status of each storefront entry. Bundles manages grouped offers. Version Log documents every update and patch. Support & Issues flags bugs, broken links, and maintenance items. A Catalog Snapshot dashboard on the homepage surfaces your active catalog, products needing attention, drafts in progress, and recent version updates at a glance. Setup takes roughly ten minutes.

Who It's For

Creator Product OS is built for:

  • The Digital Product Creator

You've got templates, eBooks, maybe a course. Product files are scattered across Dropbox, Drive, and your desktop. You need one inventory system that knows what you sell and where every file lives.

  • The Template Seller on Etsy

You sell on Etsy, Gumroad, and maybe your own site. Each product has three variants and you've lost track of which version is current on which platform.

  • The Course Creator With Multiple Offerings

Course, mini-course, coaching offer, workbook bundle — your product line is growing, and you need a catalog that tracks versions, support tickets, and platform listings in one place.

What's Inside

Six connected modules built around your Products hub. Here's what you get:

Products

Your Master Catalog

The central hub of the system. Every digital product you sell or are building gets a record here — with status, type, version, price, and links to all related files, listings, bundles, and issues. Everything else in the system connects back to a product.

Product Files & Assets

Every File Accounted For

Track every file, link, thumbnail, mockup, guide, ZIP, and delivery asset connected to a product. Each entry has a status — Ready, Missing, Needs Update, or Deprecated — so you can see at a glance what's current and what needs work.

Listings & Platforms

Where You Sell, All in One View

Track every storefront listing for every product. Whether you sell on Etsy, Shopify, or your own site, each listing has its own record with status, URL, and linked product. A Maintenance Queue view flags listings that need updates.

Bundles

Grouped Offers Under Control

Manage bundle products and track which individual items are included in each. When a component product gets updated, you can see which bundles are affected and need attention.

Version Log

Every Update Documented

Record every update, patch, and version change for any product. Each entry links to the product it applies to and includes what changed and when. Builds a complete history so you never wonder what version is live or what was fixed last month.

Support & Issues

Catch Problems Before Customers Do

Flag bugs, broken links, missing files, and feature requests. Each issue links to a product and has a status — Open, In Progress, or Resolved. A High Priority Queue on the homepage surfaces what needs immediate attention.

How to Start Using It

01

Duplicate the Template

Purchase on Etsy, open the Notion link, and duplicate it to your workspace. Works with a free Notion account.

02

Explore the Sample Data

The template comes loaded with sample products for a fictional brand called Jordan Lee Studio. Browse the connected records to see how products, files, listings, and versions link together.

03

Add Your Products

Start with the products you actively sell or are currently building. Create a record for each, set the status, type, version, and price.

04

Connect Files, Listings, and Bundles

Attach your product files and assets, add your platform listings, and link any bundle offers. Each record connects back to its parent product.

05

Maintain Weekly

Use the Catalog Snapshot dashboard to check what needs attention. Update listings when products change. Log version updates. Resolve open issues. The system stays useful because you keep it current.

Why This Instead of a Folder or Spreadsheet

A folder full of product files tells you what exists. It doesn't tell you which files are current, which listings need updating, or which products have unresolved issues. Creator Product OS connects every file, listing, and version to the product it belongs to — so one glance at a product record shows you everything attached to it.

Spreadsheets can list your products, but they can't flag that a listing on Etsy is out of date while the same product on your website is current. They can't show you that a bundle contains three products and one of them just got a version update. This system can, because every record is relational.

This is a product operations system — purpose-built for creators who ship digital products across multiple platforms and need to keep every piece of the catalog clean, connected, and current.

Frequently Asked

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a paid Notion account to use Creator Product OS?

No. Creator Product OS works with the free version of Notion. You can duplicate it to your workspace and start using it immediately without upgrading.

Is this template customizable?

Fully. Every database, property, view, status, and category can be renamed, rearranged, or removed. The template gives you a working product operations structure — you own it once you duplicate it and can adjust it to match your catalog.

Is this the same as a project management tool?

No. Creator Product OS is specifically for product operations — tracking what you sell, what state it's in, and what needs maintenance. It does not handle content planning, launch execution, or client management. Those are covered by other templates in the Creator OS line.

Can I track products on multiple platforms?

Yes. The Listings & Platforms module lets you create a separate listing record for each platform a product is sold on. One product can have an Etsy listing, a website listing, and a Shopify listing — all tracked individually with their own status.

Will I get updates if the template improves?

Yes. Lifetime updates are included. When a new version is released, you'll receive access to the updated template. Your existing data stays in your workspace — updates apply to new duplications.

I only have a few products right now. Is this worth it?

Yes. The best time to set up a product operations system is when your catalog is small enough to get organized in one sitting. As your product count grows, you'll already have a clean foundation — every file accounted for, every listing tracked, every update logged.
